It's all there. In the Boccherini.

Glad you are back. Love the Boccherini. Had to actually buy the soundtrack after we saw the movie. :) Wish I had some musical talent. It must be great fun to play like that!

Posted by: Yabu at March 21, 2010 9:42 AMWelcome back. I don't believe those skills are bordering on genius, but only because I don't think that gives enough credit to the skills. I have seen times when she would have a lie so intricately woven and solidly worked out when I would still be stuck on "uhhhh."
Posted by: Cody Pless at March 21, 2010 7:11 PMBoccherini. Isn't that the game them old Italian guys play?
Posted by: Elisson at March 21, 2010 8:06 PMI hate it when weird shit happens on boats.
Posted by: PeggyU at March 21, 2010 9:49 PMGood to see you show up again, V-dude -- been missin' my daily ration of velocity. Love the Boccherini ... guess I'm going to have to give in & read the series/watch the movies. Can't think why I've never gotten around to them. The de Maupassant is a rather sweeping indictment of womankind, dontcha think? Sigh. Really have missed your presence. Hope you're writing somewhere!!
Posted by: Marianne at March 22, 2010 3:14 AMThe absence was not as long as I feared it would be. Welcome back. Today's bright spot is the return of VelociWords. May all be well with you.

Yay! He's back!
Posted by: Cappy at March 22, 2010 6:20 PMOh great, now Boccherini puts me in mind of rum, sodomy and the lash.

Posted by: Frontman at March 22, 2010 8:09 PMA fair warning to those who pick up the 'canon' as it's known. The first book may take a bit to get through, but after that, you will dive into the center of the Earth. O'Brian, though a bastard, was a brilliant writer. I read them while they were still being published in the US, and would go through withdrawal symptoms waiting for the next one to be published.
