The American Dream

My great-grandfather was a blacksmith. He was a blacksmith so my grandfather could open a small supply company. My grandfather opened a small supply company so that my father could be an attorney. My father became an attorney so that I could become a poseur.

The air's pretty rarified up here at the top of the ziggurat.

Who will join me?

Room up there for dangerously lethal spazzes? Damn, I love that line. That's why you're a poseur, and I only ASPIRE to be a poseur. I could be the minister of smacking things with a bat. Don't make me whine. Too much.

Not a lot of space on the pointy end of the ziggurat for two poseurs.

And a guy what uses the term "ziggurat" in lieu of the more boring and prosaic "pyramid" is by far the better poseur.

Which brings to mind a question: If one were to want to smoke a little of the old haschisch whilst atop that pyramid, would it be appropriate to roll it up in some Ziggurat-Zaggurats?

No. Poseurs sell posies. I think.

.... it is tough being at the top of the food chain, brah..... trust me..... my Great Grandfather was a minister........

Let's see. My great grandfather was a sheriff, Grandpa was a high school football coach, and Dad was a physician. I've got no marketable skills. Is there still room on the ziggurat?
