A Lost Cause

Dixie.jpg

Blighted motel on U.S. 1, Boulougne, Florida.

Some old alcoholics still live there on a weekly basis, scrapping for work when they feel up to it. I stop by and have a beer with them from time to time when I'm passing through.

This is apropos of nothing other than the fact my sister was tired of looking at the turd on the previous post.

I'm glad the turd's flushed too... I ain't so fond of Christmas season, but puttin' a curly steamer(tm Sam) in a Santa hat without a beard is bad form anywhere. Even before Labor Day/ The beard part mostly... plus, lookin' at that thing reminds of of that poor bastid half way around the world that uses his nuts for a stool... no pun intened. The guy sittin' on his sack didn't look so cheerful though.

On the upside, you're 'bout that only one I know that can post literal shit and get people to talk 'bout it. One way or the other. I'm just glad you didn't photshop a Buckeye's hat on the little feller...

That was truly, truly, humanitarian of you Holmes, G.
