The Pix That Wasn't

Angel1.jpg

Sorry, Redneck. That's about the only picture of a Blue Angel I could get with a point and click Sony, no proper zoom lens, and a spastic shutter finger. I have some excellent pix of clear blue skies, however, once the planes had flown by. Nary a cloud. Perhaps I'll make a jigsaw puzzle out of one. I can't lead a 400 mile per hour plane for shit. Hell, I can't even lead a bird with a shotgun. When I hunt I'm so far behind I'm lucky if I hit the next season's ducks.

Anyway, the Boys kicked ass, as usual.

I got some good ones of the Blue Angels at the Alliance Air Show in Fort Worth a couple of weeks ago. I hope to get them up on my blog this weekend. First Air Show I've been to, believe it or not. Amazing. My wife voiced the same thought I had when the F-18s came in low and fast: "I'm sure glad I'm not an enemy of our country." True.

I understand man. After a little while in Helen, I can't swing a damn broomstick much less hit half a ball. I know what you were up 'gainst.
