SCHISM

Back to back gay posts. That's a bit unusual here. But not really.
Here's the rub: there is a huge national convocation of my church in Cleveland. The Episcopal Church USA. And there are attendees from the mother church, the Anglican Communion, UK, with a weather eye on the situation.

Why? Because New Hampshire ordained a gay bishop a year or so ago. And it threatens schism within the church. Even as I write dioceses in Florida are peeling off, in indignation. But no one wants this. We want a happy church. Which makes me severely pissed that the gay bishop, Gene Robinson, had the nads to stand up and say he is not an abomination, the dislove of him is.

Fuck this screaming anarchy. I don't give a flip fuck who Gene Robinson screws. But by God you don't screw another man in open public, and then be christened bishop. Love the sinner, hate the sin. And you, sir, sin like a motherfucker.

Iffen I had the impulse to touch children I would not act upon it, partake of my ordination as bishop, and then flaunt your face in it. Nay, this faggot needs to shut the fuck up and step down. His cruel selfish preening is driving the entire church apart.

Who has balls that big? Who the fuck does he think he is to do this? To cause this? Preening self worship. He doesn't care if he rends the entire church asunder. It's all about him.

Fucking cunt. Going to make me a damned atheist. Or a Papist. No. Wait. They have serious man-boy issues, too. Don't want to go there. Maybe I go Church of Tree Hugger. I've fondled some sweet oak in my time. I might like that.

The Gene Robinsons of the world are full of hate, and project their self-loathing onto society wherever they see the opportunity. I am sick of people deconstructing our institutions without any idea of the ramifications.
An Episcopal Church with homosexual bishops is not the church I was raised in, which is their whole idea. They will destroy Christianity with their refusal to acknowledge that people are, indeed, subject to judgment.

The dismantling of organized religions (et. al.) would alleviate alot of general global consternation.

It's the high handed belief in a moldy, suppressive, fascist fairy tale that somehow magically elevates you to some boggy moral high ground that is the problem; not some insignificant rectal ranger whose entitlement is flowing robes and pointy hats.

No papist church has ever made a point of promoting an open kiddy diddler. Yeah, we may not always get to them in time (that IS improving, believe me) but we never downright celebrate them.

Bust a cap in his ass. Keep your Church, lose the guy with dick on his breath.

Fricken Liberal Democrats, and I bet the ACLU will back him when someone wants him replaced.

Man, this comment thingy has been sitting on my task bar for an hour and I'm still left speechless by two gay posts in a row....

Bitterman thinks that a Christian belief is "high handed". I think he is a more than a little high handed. But people like him always are.
Bitterman, if you think the world would be better off without organized religion, tell that to the thousands of children adopted into loving homes by non-profit organizations associated with the various churches, and especially the Catholic church. Tell that to all the people Mother Theresa ministered to. And if you think secularism will get you where you want to go, please read Animal Farm by George Orwell.

While I am at it, I'll be sure and tell it to the people beheaded in various Middle Eastern shitholes for such dastardly capital offenses against islam as drug running, witchcraft, and apostasy. Now there is an organized religion that is all about human rights, huh?

Then I can mention it to all the women in sub Saharan Africa who had their genitals mutilated at the behest of quasi religious elders.

I guess we could get into various inquisitions, crusades, the conquest of Central America and Mexico and the resulting slavery, the censure of fucking Galileo, and every other crime perpitrated against humanity in the name of Jesus, but I have neither the time or the inclination.

But I'm sure I'll come around if you sit and hold a cross and a Glock .45 to my head. Hell, it took the Catholic church awhile to recognize the Holocaust and Fascism happened pretty much right under their pointy noses and pedophiles had infiltrated the wire, so I am sure their is hope for me, right?

Or else you could just sod off and keep your ridiculous evangelical rationalizations to yourself. In today's light, the hypocrasy that is organized religion in general is downright comical.

Think I'll just save time and steps and worship the Devil. I understand we grew up not too far from each other. Bet we know some of the same people, too.

I've been giving this a lot of thought lately, and I've come to the conclusion that I don't believe in atheists.
