VINDICATED

Yes, I realize many people have responded to my old post about black panthers, and have commented on their own sitings of the elusive beast throughout the states. Howsomever no one has bespoke it so eloquently as Brenda:

I live in west virginia. and I have seen a Black Panther, ever night, It comes close to our house and our dog chasses it up the train track , and the the panther chasses the dog back home. She is solid Black and has a strong body. She hasn;t every attacked me or my family. But at night time she can scream alful loud. Brenda Ksahola West Virginia

Kind of says it all. Well done, Brenda. I shall look you up at my next company halloo at the Greenbrier, and we can compare molars and sockets.

Holy fuck. I went back to that old post and just goggled, slack-jawed, at the comments.

Do 80% of those people have webbed feet, or what? Jeezus H. Kee-Reist.

You must work for Debeers if your company fetes you at the Greenbrier.

When I want that kind of treatment, I have to spring for it myself at the Homestead.

I saw Black Panthers in Chicago, at some protests in the '60s. Does that count?

Uh oh, looks like at least one of these critters is snooping around Air Force One.

ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE - Two large cats resembling cougars were spotted at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington on Thursday, and a search was on for the potentially dangerous animals, NBC News reported.

A black cat jumped over the base’s fence, but a brown one was still believed to be on the property, according to witness accounts.
