For the record, if anyone's keeping one, I'm utterly unoffended by the post, wouldn't have missed it, didn't consider it a statement of your opinion on Houstonians, and wouldn't be troubled even if it is.

I make a habit of checking up on comments I make at various blogs. So, I was disturbed when I read here that I have been banned. Thank you for granting me the honorific "Mr." before calling me a homosexual. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.) Rarely do you see that sort of politeness in uncalled for invective these days. You are to be commended for your politesse.

I can see now that you were merely teasing those with a mind for vocabulary choice by throwing in that impudent when a thoughtful reader would be expecting imprudent, surrounded as it was by "foolish" and "dumbass."
