What kind of cat eats a damned frog and leaves the best part? She's become a fucking zombie of sorts. An insatiable flesh eater that doesn't clean up after theyself.
And no, despite my numerous idiosyncrasies, I did not fry up those legs, and serve them with a nice bernaise sauce. I have my ants to think about.
'Ja ever think that your cat was saving the best part just for you? Because they do that sometimes, you know.
Posted by: Elisson at August 21, 2005 11:10 PMOh, she was, Big E. Just glad she didn't deposit those legs on my pillow.
Posted by: Velociman at August 21, 2005 11:22 PMYou could always ask her why she left the best part but she may not answer ... what with that frog in her throat.
Ewwwww. That's almost as bad as the bird that committed suicide by flying at top speed into my son's truck (it was parked for crying out loud) yesterday. Ripped it's head halfway off, it did.
Posted by: Kelly at August 22, 2005 5:34 AM.. must be something in the wind.. lately Fred has taken to eating cicadas and leaving their heads in the garage... he's got quite a collection now... trophies, I suppose...
Posted by: Eric at August 22, 2005 6:33 AMI was workin on my Dad's computer yesterday (he is a techtard) and his damn cat was sitting on the filing cabinet to my left, watching me. Suddenly I hear the well known hurkhurkhurk sound and I zoom my chair to the right just in time to avoid the spew. It was full of damn grass...I thought only dogs ate grass? Some kind of cat-tard, I guess.
Posted by: Bane at August 22, 2005 11:04 AMPerhaps your cat is French, non?
Posted by: Dash at August 22, 2005 11:43 AMDamn...what a spread! aint nuthin' like frog porn.
Posted by: Marcus at August 22, 2005 8:47 PMMax left me the lower half of a rat in the tomato plants last week. I was glad to see he was doing his job, and it was easy to dispose of tail first.
Posted by: rankin' rob at August 22, 2005 9:08 PMShip all the cats to France, as they're being invaded by frogs right now. I know, it's redundant...but seriously, those frogs there are big enough to eat birds and mice. That oughta give your cat something to ponder.
Posted by: Joan of Argghh! at August 23, 2005 9:33 AMMarcus, you're gettin' an idea... I can see it. You're gonna quit the Friday Fishin' and start a Friday Froggin' deal.
Shoot, that frog resembles my reflection on, ... one mornin' or the other last weekend.
Mine always leaves dead things on the porch. I still shriek at the carnage every stinkin' time.
Posted by: blondage at August 23, 2005 9:02 PMWhen my old cat was a kitten he'd kill birds, bring them into the house and eat them whole, heads, bones, and everything. We'd come home and find a few feathers and maybe ONE claw, or a beak or something.
Usually he ate the beaks though.
Posted by: kc at August 23, 2005 9:28 PMThe cat decided you needed a "leg up" and left you two to ensure it.
What a nice kitty.
