More Target Marketing

I wonder about the people marketing that Clash greatest hits on Fox News. I mean, I'm a fan of both, but I will be the first to admit I occupy a very peculiar demographic.

Heh. I'd confine most of their "greatest hits" to their "London Burning" album and earlier. The later stuff isn't worth the scrap value of the vinyl it was printed on. Clash-pop...make me vomit!

"Drop your bombs between the minarets down the casbah way". How many pop bands worked "minaret" into a top 10 single? I think Combat Rock well, rocks. Straight to Hell and Rock the Casbah are 2 of my favorite "pop" tunes. I won't even mention "The Sound of Sinners" off Sandinista or "Car Jamming", also off Combat Rock.
The Clash didn't end with London Calling, Desert Cat.

What about the word "muezzin"? Anyways...the Clash marketed on FOX News? Jeez. Makes me feel kinda geezerish and also glad I don't have cable...
