ROBBIE BURNS

Eric has a quite poetic take on his first Robbie Burns night. A story well told. I love Burns. It brings to mind

As father Adam first was fool'd,
(A case that's still too common,)
Here lies man a woman ruled,
The devil ruled the woman.

That's the entirety of Burns' On A Henpecked Country Squire (1784).

I like that. And I'm still plotting my takeover of the family business, from which I've been so cruelly denied. Even if they do make blended Scotch. Oh, the shame. Give me 12 years. We'll be dancing in single malt.
