One more thing about Senator Thurmond. I didn't realize until today that he had parachuted into Normandy with the 82nd Airborne. He was 42 at the time.

Hell, Strom wasn't even in the armed services. Someopne told him that the Germans were making the french girls mate with Negroes, and the rest, as they say, is histpry.
